Field Trips!
Here at Spring Haven Farm we are committed to strengthening our community through positive human-animal interactions! Spring Haven Farm provides a safe environment in which people of all ages can have a positive experience while gaining an education about the agricultural world. A field trip at Spring Haven Farm provides all students with the chance to learn fascinating information about our farm animals, as well as other potential educational opportunities like enhancing the imagination with our various crafts or mining for gems and fossils from all over the world!
Basic Field Trip Package: The most basic field trip package includes entry to the farm and one bag of animal treats per person. Entry also includes unlimited tractor train rides! The price for the basic field trip package is $11.50 per person.
Gem Mining Package: The Spring Haven Farm mining sluice is the perfect place for children of all ages to learn about verious gems and where they come from! The Gem Mining Package includes one mining ticket for each student. Students and chaperones alike will also get everything that is included in the basic field trip package. Students can choose between a Paydirt mining kit or an Arrowhead Find mining kit! The Paydirt mining kit contains a wide selection of gems from all over the world, while the Arrowhead Find contains authentic arrowheads! The price of the Gem Mining Package is $17.50 per student and $11.50 per chaperone.
Craft Package: Crafting is the perfect way to get an enriching creativity boost during a fun day on the farm! We offer a wide variety of crafts, including painting your own birdhouse, jewelry-making, and crafting Christmas ornaments! The crafts available will vary based on the time of year. The Craft Package includes everything from the Basic Field Trip Package plus one crafting ticket for each student. The price of the Craft Package is $15 per student and $11.50 per chaperone.
Gem Mining and Craft Package: The Gem Mining and Craft Package includes everything in the Basic Field Trip Package plus one crafting ticket and one mining ticket for each student! The price for the Gem Mining and Craft Package is $20 per student and $11.50 per chaperone.
